What Kulawe Konie is
Kulawe Konie is a private training dashboard used by exactly two people, Jarek and Marcin, who each connect their own Garmin Connect account. It is not offered to the public, has no other users, and is not a commercial product.
What Garmin data is used, and how
- Data read (through each user's own Garmin Personal API key): daily steps, activities (time, distance, heart rate and zones, training load, post-workout feel and RPE), sleep, HRV, resting heart rate, stress, Body Battery, weight and BMI, VO2max and Fitness Age.
- Purpose: to show both users their progress side by side, track a yearly step goal and race preparation, and build a weekly training plan.
- Data written (through the Garmin Connect Developer Program Training API): the planned workouts and their schedule, published to each user's own Garmin Connect calendar so they sync to the user's watch.
Where the data is stored and who processes it
- Garmin – the source of the data and the destination of the planned workouts.
- The operator's own computer – the data is stored in a local database on Jarek's computer and is not uploaded to any other server or cloud storage.
- Anthropic (Claude) – the dashboard page is hosted as a private Claude artifact visible only to the two users. Claude, an AI assistant by Anthropic, processes the data to build the dashboard, write short daily and weekly comments, and prepare the training plan.
No other third party receives Garmin data.
AI transparency
An AI system (Claude by Anthropic) processes the Garmin data as described above. Each user gives explicit consent on the dashboard's consent screen before seeing it, and can withdraw that consent at any time by writing to jarek@markiewicz.cc or using the "Coś mi nie pasuje" (something is not OK) option on the consent screen; their data is then removed from the dashboard at the next sync. Garmin data and anything derived from it is not used to train, evaluate or improve AI models.
Selling and sharing
Garmin data is never sold, rented or shared with anyone other than the processors listed above. The two users see each other's data on the dashboard; that is the purpose of the tool and each user consents to it.
Your rights
- Access, correction, export, deletion: write to jarek@markiewicz.cc; requests are handled within 30 days.
- Withdrawing access: delete your Personal API key or remove Kulawe Konie from the connected apps in your Garmin Connect account settings. Syncing stops immediately.
Security
API keys and access tokens are stored in the macOS Keychain on the operator's computer, are never shared, and are never shown in logs.
